Role

The editorial team maintains both independent insurance reference libraries: Please Don’t Sue Us for liability exposure and isthiscovered.org for policy mechanics. The team owns topic selection, source review, drafting, editing, corrections, and the decision to publish or withhold a page.

Review standard

Published articles, guides, and case files are edited against the published editorial policy: primary sources first, policy and statutory language over summaries, and a direct answer before background. Research and drafting may be assisted by AI tools, but the source list, factual claims, links, and final answer are reviewed by the editorial team before publication. A named licensed reviewer appears only when that person actually reviewed the page.

Accountability

Each article carries its publication date and, when it changes substantively, an updated date. Corrections change the page; dates are not advanced solely to create an appearance of freshness. The publisher is disclosed on every page, and neither library accepts paid placement, affiliate compensation, or carrier review of editorial coverage.

Questions, corrections, and source suggestions are welcome by email — the fastest way to get a page fixed is to tell the editors exactly what is wrong and point to a primary source.
